One of the most groundbreaking and influential saxophonists of his generation, Miguel Zenón achieved a jazz first in 2008: he was honored with both the Guggenheim Fellowship and the MacArthur Fellow "genius grant" in the same year. Over his illustrious career, the multiple Grammy Award nominee has showcased a masterful ability to balance the often contradictory roles of institution and innovation, creating a signature blend of Latin jazz infused with mathematical precision, furious improvisation, and elegant lyricism. All About Jazz says it simply: Miguel Zenón is "modern jazz at its very best." Tickets are extremely limited.
Please note that city ordinance prohibits admission of anyone under 19 for the 10 p.m. performance.

This project is supported, in part, by a partnership with the Jazz Arts Group's Jazz Audiences Initiative, with support from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
